Mission Trip to Honduras

Thank you to Steve Mentzer for sharing his experience while volunteering on a mission trip in Honduras.  In 2007 he became involved with Central American Relief Effort (Honduras Mission). They go to rural portions of Honduras and assist in medical mission. They have also started self-sustaining pharmacies to assist the medical well being of the rural locals. Otherwise, a rural Honduran would take up to 4 hours one way just to get medication refills. The CARE effort also provides free lunch for all students at the local school. They team up with a food mission to distribute rice/soy mixture to fee 4,000 students.

Check your calendars - the organization is looking for volunteers to travel with them on their next trip - February 18-25, 2018.
